Thanks to everyone for the prayers and well-wishes! My mom is finally home and slowly recovering, and this last week has been one of the longest of my life. I now know the meaning of the phrase "Christmas miracle." (Yeah, yeah, I know, that's pretty lame.)

On the other hand, I have the freaking swine flu a number of other issues. Sigh. But before I go dope myself up again, I just had to post this. Someone posted it on Twitter and it made me laugh:

Hey everyone, my mom is very very sick (currently in the ICU) and she could really use some prayers and stuff, so, if you wouldn't mind, I'd really appreciate it.
