Since I'm posting them, I figured I'd bring back one that I never posted back in October:
Sarah: Have you seen that stupid ad with Andy Griffith supporting Obama?
Sarah's Dad: Yeah, and Ron Howard and Henry Winkler too.
Sarah: They shouldn't allow people like that to do things like that.
Sarah's Dad: Why not? What are you, a fascist now?
Sarah: I'm just glad Don Knotts is not alive to see this.
Sarah's Dad: But Don Knotts is probably a lot more liberal than Andy Griffith!
Sarah: I know, that's why I'm glad he's dead!
For the record, the man continues to torment me with that ad every time we see "The Fonze" or Opie/Richie/Ron on TV.

I knew Henry Winkler was a big time lib, but ANDY?
I remember when Happy Days was at the top, before the Fonz jumped the shark, there was a publicity campaign to show Henry Winkler what he was really like, because everyone thought he had to be like the Fonz. What a disappointment that was when 15 year old boys found out the Fonz in real life was a wuss.
Don't get me wrong, I like and have really enjoyed Henry Winkler's (as well as Ron Howard and Andy Griffith's) work.
I can't believe Andy let you down like that. What would Aunt Bea say?
I've never seen the ads but this post, along with Steve's Fonzie is a wuss comment, gave me my laugh for today.
I'm a fan of all three as well, though Ron Howard is going of the deep end here lately with his political stuff. It was his ad and Andy G just looks like of old and lost in it LOL
I actually met Henry Winkler about seven years ago and he was really nice...and about 5'2!
As I said, I have not see this ad you speak of. Steve defended Fonzie, so I will defend Ron Howard. I honestly have never seen anything about his political beliefs, but I must say he is one of the few child stars who has turned out normal. He's made a successful career behind the scenes. Even if you don't agree with him politically, I think he's probably got some brains behind his views.
And now let's stop picking on the Fonz. He can't help it he's short LOL
My new dislike of Ron Howard has nothing to do with the ad or his politics, it has to do with him saying Bush makes Nixon's crimes look "trivial" last week. He came across as not very intelligent to me...sorry, I find that sort of talk bothersome and I can't respect anyone's opinion who says things like that.
So right Sarah. Some people are taking their hatred to new lows and if they seem to be going off the deep end.
