Thank You, Don Knotts
I haven't had a lot of time to post lately or a lot to post about, but the news of Don Knotts' death today was, for lack of a better word, depressing. I happened to be watching FNC when they broke in with it and it really upset me. I know eventually we all have to move on, but there are just some people you wish you could hang on to forever. He's one of the funniest people in the history of television. I was raised watching The Andy Griffith Show and hope one day my children will get the same opportunity. It's one of my favorite shows of all time and always will be. It represents something that is good about this country and the South, and it proves that moral values still have a place in the world. It brightens my day and it comforts mes and most of all, it makes me laugh. So thank you, Don Knotts for 24 years of happiness. God bless you.
